Calvary Church
Calvary Church North Pittsburgh is a ministry and church plant of Calvary Chapel South Pittsburgh. Our prayer and desire is to reach the lost for Christ and edify the church through the teaching of the Word of God. As we have stepped out in faith, the Lord has faithfully answered many prayers and opened numerous doors. We are excited to move forward on this journey and embrace all that He has planned!
Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational fellowship, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
