Why we exist.
To reach and win a person to Jesus Christ, disciple a person in Jesus Christ and to send a person for Jesus Christ.
At Calvary, we take seriously God’s command to share the gospel with anyone who is not saved. We believe Pittsburgh is ripe for the gospel and are intentional to go and share the hope of Christ wherever God opens the door. Our heart is to see people come to know Jesus personally, grow in His Word, and be equipped to serve Him faithfully. We long to see believers strengthened and sent out—into neighborhoods, workplaces, and nations—to be a light in a dark world.
Luke 19:10 "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
We will continue in.
1. The study of the Word of God.
Services are centered around the study of the Bible. We study verse by verse, chapter by chapter through the entirety of God's Word.
2. Worship.
Worship is contemporary and engaging.
3. Community.
Engage in community and fellowship before or after service with coffee and fellowship.
4. Prayer.
Prayer is the resource of the church. We gather to pray together at the end of each Wednesday service.
5. Evangelism.
Time is short and there are many who the Lord desires to save. We want to be part of God's plan to save many by sharing the gospel with those who are not saved.
